Lithuania was freed from Soviet Occupation in 1991 and joined the EU recently. The struggle with independence continues to live within a country which seems to be divided with age. While some older generations remember not struggling to survive, the younger generations welcome independence with open arms. The photographic gallery was taken in 2005.
